Chess Scotland Accounts

No reply one month down the line?

There was £24k to £28k in the past two years accounts of non-Scottish Championship and non-International event income against £24k and £24k in the past two years accounts of non-Scottish Championship and non-International event expenses. This core appears to be self funding.

Obvious candidates for reigning in the recurring  deficit are the Scottish Championship and International events, irrespective of how the latter is made up.  A review of the objectives, participation in and funding of these events should be considered. So:

Self funding by each event as a requirement is the way to go.
