Is it possible to play Fischer random on here?

I don't see why not, that is actually a really good idea.

Great idea. Will get you guys out of your vast opening books quickly. =)

I'm not sure if the current system for posting games on the forum will allow it, but it might. Might be worth trying to create a position that is a 960 random variation and then just start playing moves from that position (as you would setting up any position mid-way into a normal game).

Might work.

Testing...

[pgn][White "Bob"]
[Black "Fred"]
[Result "*"]
[Variant "chess 960"]
[SetUp "1"]
[FEN "rbnqbknr/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/RBNQBKNR w HAha - 0 1"]
[PlyCount "3"]
{Chess 960-Position 520} 1. Nf3 Nf6 2. O-O *[/pgn]

I believe pgn4web is supporting Fischer Random in terms of castling, etc. I put the following, as an example, between the pgn tags:

[White "Bob"]
[Black "Fred"]
[Result "*"]
[Variant "chess 960"]
[SetUp "1"]
[FEN "rbnqbknr/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/RBNQBKNR w HAha - 0 1"]
[PlyCount "3"]
{Chess 960-Position 520} 1. Nf3 Nf6 2. O-O *
