Richardson Cup 1903
Helensburgh, promoted as winners of the first Spens Cup competition in 1902, are eliminated early in the competition. J.R. Longwill, who usually played for Glasgow CC, elected to play for Helensburgh in the Richardson.
Interestingly, the semi-final match between Glasgow and Edinburgh was actually played over twelve boards, the first five boards counting for the Richardson Cup.
