Richardson Cup 1934-1935
Edinburgh CC managed to break the Glasgow CC's run of success (it had won the last three finals) in a hard-fought match.. Only one of the seven games had been completed after five hours' play, McGibbon losing to Reid. At the close of play McGrouther's game was adjudicated a loss, and draws were agreed on the remaining boards.
