Richardson Cup 1937-1938
This final was so hard-fought that it had to be played twice. The first match, held in Glasgow on March 5th 1938 was drawn 3½ each. The replay was in Edinburgh on March 26th. At the end of play the score was 3½-2½ to Glasgow, with the board 3 game to be adjudicated. The expected draw was later confirmed, giving Glasgow CC the championship once again, their twentieth victory.
