Richardson Cup 1955-1956
Main Tournament
Glasgow CC repeat last year's
final victory over Bohemians, but the latter make the score more respectable.
This was Bohemians last appearance in the final. Polytechnic after a 1 year
exile in the Spens, reappear for the start of what at the time of writing
(2001) is the longest current run in the touranment, and face Bon Accord in the
first round for the 3rd time in a row - but win, while Civil Service who have
been there for a long time appear to be relegated - but watch for changes in
the following year's event. Once again a very close series of matches.
