SPENS CUP 1903
The final was held in Stirling on Saturday, 28th January.
The Queen's Park CC from Glasgow, formed in 1873, was a convincing winner by 4½-½.
James McKee, on board two for the winning club, later to be associated more closely with Glasgow CC, went on to become a particularly strong player. He won the Scottish championship in 1911 and 1926, the West of Scotland championship seven times, and the championship of the Glasgow CC ten times between 1904 and 1931.
