Scottish Championship 1907
The twenty-fourth annual Congress of the Scottish Chess Association was held in the rooms of Messrs. Ferguson & Forrester, Princes Street, Edinburgh, during the Easter holiday period. There was a good entry, including former champions John Crum, winner in 1884, the year the SCA was formed, E. Macdonald and James Borthwick. The player in last place was, according to the British Chess Magazine, 'a Stirlingshire clergyman, who played under the pseudonym of "G. Dickson."'
