John Richard Draper

1873, Edmonton, Middlesex, ENG ─ 19 January 1940, Glasgow

Associated with both the Central Chess Club, Glasgow ─ of which he was champion eight times ─ and the Bohemian CC, also Glasgow.

Member of the Central CC teams that won the Spens Cup in 1906 and 1912, and the Richardson Cup in 1914, 1925 and 1929.
