John Terence Hennigan

- Played on the Scottish Glorney Cup teams of 1956 and 1957.
- a general medical practitioner, he qualified in Glasgow 1964.
- went to London and worked in haematology at St Thomas's and in chest medicine at the Brompton Hospital, later became a G.P in Ealing until retiring in 1990.
- one of his four sons is Michael Hennigan, International Master and British Champion 1993, when the event was held in Dundee.
