See that the Glasgow Film Theatre is showing the film Magnus on November 30th/December 1st
"Magnus Carlsen is unlike any other chess player, possessing an innate creative playing ability and photographic memory from an early age. Shot over more than a decade, Benjamin Ree’s documentary follows the intense journey of the young Norwegian, remaining courtside throughout his trials and triumphs – including becoming the youngest grandmaster at age 13 and world chess champion at 22. Released to coincide with the World Chess Championships in New York, which Magnus is competing in, his film allows a peek inside the unique world of chess as seen through the eyes of a prodigal genius. Alan T and Craig P are in action right now, and tomorrow also in Leeds. They have both been on the live boards, but is only top 4 boards. You have to be quick as it does not retain each round and just updates with the next round. http://www.british-rapidplay.org.uk/2016site/index.html

Hi
Jonny Scott's last event (I think) was the last Grangemouth Congress and we still have at least a silver plate and possibly a shield as well. I would like to arrange to get these back to someone for safe keeping. Any suggestings?
