Re: offering a draw etiquette - Patrick McGovern - 15-10-2012 As Alan says Quote:Wouldn't it be easier to just study a bit more chess rather resorting to underhand measures?but where would that leave us poor wood pushers? Alan has dedicated a large part of his time to improving his chess with magnificent results BUT, for the rest of us we need to be creative in achieving results. Some underhand efforts include stealing your opponents favourite pen, resulting in him losing on time. I know others but i will leave it to Robin et al to enlighten us. In fact there should be a prize for the most creative way of prising the point from your opponent 8) Re: offering a draw etiquette - Chris Perkin - 26-10-2012 Offering a draw in a worse position makes you run the risk of looking a bit silly when your opponent simply plays on. |
