My young lady came with me to her first chess event at Inverness and she wishes to thank everyone particularly Alison Smith, Alison Constance and Liz Connolly Sams for making her feel at home. She was really impressed with how polite and friendly our juniors were. Re: Scottish Chess Tour - Andrew Newton - 14-09-2015 another great event, thank you to everyone involved Re: Scottish Chess Tour - Alan Tate - 14-09-2015 Edinburgh are clearly no longer a 2100 club. Re: Scottish Chess Tour - David G Congalton - 15-09-2015 The 2016 Inverness Chess Congress will take place from the 11th to the 13th of September. Re: Scottish Chess Tour - JMcNicoll - 15-09-2015 Another new innovation from the Scottish Chess Tour, a Sunday to Tuesday tourney. Bet he corrects that to the 9th to 11th though. Maybe a Sunday to Thursday? :-? Re: Scottish Chess Tour - Andy Howie - 15-09-2015 JMcNicoll Wrote:I would also take this opportunity to clear up something.
