You didn't go wrong, Andy; it is a table base draw after 49.Kxe4. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.shredderchess.com/online-chess/online-databases/endgame-database.html">http://www.shredderchess.com/online-che ... abase.html</a><!-- m --> Easy for the computers; near impossible for a human with 2 minutes left. Must have gotten my 'technique' positions mixed up as I deliberately headed for that R&P ending Re: SNCL 27th Oct 2013 - Andy Howie - 01-11-2013 IMarks Wrote:andyburnett Wrote:Will the scores from Sunday be posted anytime soon? As I was involved in one of the last games to finish I didn't get a chance to see any of the results+1 I only got the results last night as I have been away a lot of the week with work. I am away again next week to Ireland. I have completed the grading for Division 1 and 2 and will get 3 and 4 done over the weekend. I also have to set up Swiss Master to grade the FIDE games. Would be helpful if players put a) their names b) their PNos and c) the actual result on the scorecard. Would make things so much easier for me and I could do it a lot quicker Next thing will be to chase up all those players who are not registered with FIDE and get their Date of birth Re: SNCL 27th Oct 2013 - Andy Howie - 01-11-2013 and just to keep you all quiet. Results are now available on http://snclchess.co.uk/ Re: SNCL 27th Oct 2013 - andyburnett - 01-11-2013 Thanks Andy, Much appreciated Re: SNCL 27th Oct 2013 - IMarks - 01-11-2013 andyburnett Wrote:Thanks Andy,'ere 'ere Any chance of the draw for rd 3 in div. 4!? 8) TIA Re: SNCL 27th Oct 2013 - Alan Jelfs - 02-11-2013 I'd just like to say how impressed I was with the strength of the various Edinburgh teams at the SNCL, despite 12 of their finest being on overseas duty at the European club championship. Re: SNCL 27th Oct 2013 - George Thomson - 02-11-2013 All four S.N.C.L divisions are full of players of different grades and throw up the possibility of some amazingly diverse clashes. This offers some people the opportunity to play against opponents whom they would rarely have the opportunity to face. There were some really interesting clashes on Sunday, looking at some of the positions on the "totally out-graded" boards suggested that the stronger opponents did not have it quite as easy as they expected in many cases. |
