Clement Sreeves - Matthew Turner - 25-08-2015 Awful website, awesome results 4/4 with two wins over Cherniaev http://www.ccfworld.com/Chess/Results/2 ... 0_JGCI.htm Re: Clement Sreeves - George Neave - 25-08-2015 Matthew Turner Wrote:Awful website, awesome results Nice! Re: Clement Sreeves - Alan Tate - 25-08-2015 +1 Re: Clement Sreeves - Andy Howie - 26-08-2015 Pity there are no norms available, they needed 1 more foreign player Re: Clement Sreeves - Gary McPheator - 26-08-2015 Eh? I thought you needed players from two different federations from your own, which Clement has already played against (ENG & RUS) with a CRO to follow. Is this not enough? Re: Clement Sreeves - Gary McPheator - 26-08-2015 Just checked the FIDE regulations. Seems there is a maximum number of players from one federation that is allowed, which has been exceeded. Pity, Clement seems to be in excellent form! Re: Clement Sreeves - Alan Tate - 28-08-2015 That's some schedule - 14 rounds in 7 days! Re: Clement Sreeves - Clement Sreeves - 30-08-2015 Final round opponent withdrew so that's my tournament over. No norm due to technicalities, but my TPR would have been high enough over 12 rounds. Incredibly happy with my best ever performance, all games were hard fought and I feel like I've learned a lot from the strong opposition there. Re: Clement Sreeves - Andy Howie - 30-08-2015 Pity, That was a very good performance Well done!! Re: Clement Sreeves - David G Congalton - 30-08-2015 Well played FM Sreeves. It's unfortunate that you don't get an IM norm for such a good performance but it must do your FIDE rating some good and push you towards the 2400 rating you need as part of the title requirements. Pleased to see all the late night coaching you got in Czech Republic, from GM Groves and FM Tate has paid off in results. |
