Plenty of live action from Gibraltar over the next 10 days with GM Keti Arakhamia-Grant, IM Steve Mannion and FM Alan Tate all involved.

Round 1 saw tough pairings for the boys but Alan played a fine game to draw.

Round 2 saw Alan Tate win against a strong GM, in a game which I'm hoping he'll annotate for the Scottish Chess magazine!

Congratulations to Alan Tate on being unbeaten so far at Gibraltar with a 2600 performance. This after 6 of 10 rounds. Keep it going Alan, and that IM title is there for the taking.
