The Intermediate & Junior sections are merged into one league with highest place in section winning title.
There is a trophy for Senior League (currently at Glasgow Academy).
I offer to do a simultaneous display for the winning primary school when time permits.

I issued this to teams:
I am enclosing rules and entrants for the Glasgow Schools Chess League.
The attached rules haven’t changed since two years ago.
Last year there was no entry due to covid and expectedly the numbers are low with only 10 teams entered.
You should play all the teams in your section and you can also play teams in a different section though these games will not count for the championship.
The tournament will run till mid June.
New teams will be allowed to enter at any time.
Matches can be played either at a school or over the internet as agreed by the schools involved.
I intend giving results and tables once a month.

We only have a trophy for Senior . If anyone knows where to get a cheap purchase of a trophy for other three tournaments please let me know. I would like to have at least a Primary trophy for next year

2024-25 season
This will start on 1st October 2024 and will consist of four sections : Senior (any pupil) , Intermediate (up to S4), Junior (up to S2), Primary. There is a trophy for the Senior section and intention to purchase a trophy for the Primary section
