Perth Congress no details why? - donaldheron - 18-02-2024

Yet again another congress appears in the calendar with "details to follow" and already almost all the available accomodation has gone before we know anything that might help decide if we want to enter or not.  So the only answer is to book and hope for the best.  Surely the organisers could at least inform us of when each round is and what the time control will be.

Hi Donald, sorry to hear of your frustrations.

I am presuming that the round times will be much the same as all previous Perth congresses with a 6:30 pm on the Friday with Saturday to Monday 2 rounds each at 10:00 am and 3 pm. Not quite like all previous as we are taking advantage of a bank holiday to have a 7 round event.

There will also probably be a blitz on the Saturday night from 7:30 pm and possibly also on Sunday, that still to be decided though.

Hope that helps.
