The news that someone who is wounded has been killed leaves me feeling oddly sad. I am not judging those involved, quite the reverse.

Steve, I'd have thought that someone who feels as you do about Tony Blair would expect his chief emotion to be relief that Gaddafi won't be answering questions in a court any time soon.

Didn't he die from his injuries, rather than being killed when he was injured?
