Scottish Blitz 2014 - Jonathan Edwards - 13-03-2014
The Scottish Blitz Championship will take place this year on Saturday 31st May 2014 at Surgeons' Hall, Edinburgh.
David Oswald and myself are co-organising the event which is sponsored Walkers Shortbread for a second year running.
Following feedback from players, the event will be double-rounds. Further details to follow.

Perhaps in future it should be 5 boards rather than 4 in future as most teams come form the NCL matches in morning.

You're thinking of the Scottish team lightning after the last SNCL. The Blitz is an individual event.

Details are now available for the Scottish Blitz this year.
Arkadij Naiditsch is returning to Edinburgh for a third year.
Entries are now open on the website: Adults £25; Students/Juniors £20.

It's rated for FIDE Blitz ratings, not the "proper" FIDE grade (thank goodness).
