Having been a bit lax in updating progress I can now tell the world:
North East section was won by Declan Shafi, beating Leo Sani in the final round;
West and South East section was won by Ian Brownlee, beating Chris Donkin in the final round.
So Declan and Ian meet in the national final to decide the winner of the Nancy Elder tournament. They meet on 5th May at Stirling Chess Club.
