The decision to exclude the Russians is ridiculous. Are they not the favourites ?
That team input form was very hard to use, especially in a foreign language, email acceptances should have been allowed.
Scotland have made changes after the deadline e.g. Joy Durno. Is that illegal ? Also, I believe we had problems getting FIDE delegate and arbiter accommodation too. Where are players accommodated ? I heard about boat rumours since the venue is an island. There is obviously a severe problem with accommodation to come to this decision.

It gets worse. 10 federations are not being allowed to go! No info on who they are yet

Gelfer: "FIDE is now considering very strong legal matters. I would even considering cancelling the Olympiad, if necessary"
I'll be keeping a close eye on that!

This just wouldn't happen in the football world cup. Germany too late to register ?
Also the venue is an island, is it not one mile wide ? How can a one hour journey be possible unless accommodation is miles out at sea or miles inland ?
I assume Joy ok to go. Otherwise we only have 4 players. Organisers have been told by me and not come back to say we are banned. They just told us to pay the 100 euro registration fees even though FIDE frowned on this. The FIDE congress is looking very interesting now !

Hmm just pointed out that 3.7.2 allows naming of teams up to 20 hours before round 1 at the cost of 100 euros per player. 10 minutes later the RCF release a statement stating that under 3.7.2 they are allowed to do this and will take legal action if not allowed in.
Should I be worried that my computer is being watched??
