overseas junior international event costs

robin moore Wrote:I wonder what will happen to any Scotland, Wales and England juniors that have made plans to play in the EU Youth if the UK votes to leave the EU on the 23rd June?

1. It will take a fair bit of time (possibly even a year or two) for the legislation to go through Parliament. If it such an occasion can even effect events organised by the ECU.

2. The UK is voting whether or not to leave the EU, not Europe!

3. The ECU (European Chess Union) is a much larger part of Europe and is not restricted to the EU

4. The EU has 28 member states, ECU has 44 member Federations.

In summary - no effect at all
