Chess in Schools and Communities is delighted to announce that two free spectator tickets for this year’s XTX Markets London Chess Classic are being offered to every chess club in the UK.
Each club can apply for two free spectator tickets on Monday December 2nd, Tuesday December 3rd or Thursday December 5th. Tickets normally cost £15 with a season ticket for all seven days of play costing £60. Applications will be on a first come first served basis and should be made to info@chessinschools.co.uk Visit London Chess Classic for more details.
The 14th edition of the Classic will be staged at the iconic Emirates Stadium in London from November 29th to December 7th. Our elite event features eight top players from the UK and from around the world, including SuperGMs Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Vidit Gujrathi, Women's World Champion Ju Wenjun and England’s youngest GM Shreyas Royal. Spectators will be able to enjoy live grandmaster commentary from Peter Svidler.
