The following points are publicly available for all to see and nothing to do with points scoring
1. The Draw is published on the front news page
2. The list of member clubs is published on the website
3 The rules for the Spens Club are available on the Website (Information/Rules)

The membership has the right to know the facts rather than hiding such selective emails, so that individuals only see replies possibly under "confidential/private" emails.

What happened to transparency and the rights of the membership to ask/post questions. I always believe that the forum was available for members to raise points of interest to all and if necessary, called to account.

Any damage or negativity is denying facts be publicly answered and available for all to see.

I ask the questions
- under the rules and published information how it can be justified that the rules have not been bypassed or ignored?

I personally am not interested in point scoring, more a case of publicly asking relevant questions on an open Forum.

Hi Jim,

With regard to above, I went back and read your initial message at the top of the thread. You might disagree, but I can certainly see how the tone and nature of it might have led Andy and Alex to respond in the way they have.

I have immensely enjoyed my time working in the Chess Scotland Executive over the past 15 months and I have a tremendous amount of respect for the hard work that both Alex and Andy do. The issue in question has been resolved and had you approached us with your concerns we could have filled you in as best we could.

Ongoing tension between those who should be sharing enjoyment of the different developments of chess in Scotland isn't ideal. There is surely space for all of us to be doing our own constructive things to support different chess projects.
