Fair play to Mr Muir for organising Richardson/Spens/Bowl but it does seem a bit of a case of make the rules up as you go along or not making these clear at the outset. If there are stated rules why not stick to them? Not doing so invites conflict and is surely wrong. Playing for a club that has been a loyal supporter of the Spens Cup down the years it does not seem to be that much of an issue directly for us but the principal still stands of stating and sticking to the rules in place at the start of the competition.
