But are we more interested in fun Chess or good Chess? And is good not also fun? I mean, you say that Fritz wouldn't fall into such cheapos, but neither would the best human players in the world (or at least very very rarely). Computers could be programmed to look for cheapos like that too, but that would make them weaker players technically.
