Just a query out of general interest and for future reference in case the situation arises with our team regarding ED CS 2.5 v Kilmarnock A 3.5 also in the earlier results post above.
Kilmarnock were a player short (their board 1) and dropped a point by default. However Edinburgh Civil Service didn't play their own board 1 and won the default there. Is that a fixed rule and how it has to happen? Or was that the player they just so happened to choose at their own discretion not to play and take the default? I would have thought the norm was for Board 6 typicaly not to play and win by default but with discretion allowed as to which player/board drops out and takes the default point.
