I would much have preferred the 2023 AGM to be in-person rather than remote. There is not the same level of scrutiny and democracy. As an example, the last AGM was remote and both Alan Tate and I stood for the International Director position. However neither of us spoke as to why people should vote for us even though I would have liked to have given a speech..

Andy,
I would suggest you check the minutes of the 2022 AGM which shows that you did give an election address at the meeting.
I know that both Ian and I did for the President's post and also answered questions from those in attendance.
Perhaps your speech was so memorable that even you have forgotten giving it!!!! ;}
