Dave McGilvary

Dave McGilvary sadly passed away on the morning of the 9th December.

He was an integral part of Badgers Brook and before that played for Livingston. He often welcomed new players to make the feel at home in the club and also captained many teams over the years. He'll be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.

When I get funeral details I'll post them here.

Sad news. I had known Dave for over 50 years. We played in the same school team from 1968. He was a gentle soul and through those school years when nicknames are rife he was always known as 'Big Dove'. At his best he could be a dangerous attacking player. I was at the Badger Brook club last night and it was strange not seeing him there.
