Kurt Richter
#1
I have been researching the life and games of the Berlin master Kurt Richter (1900-1969).

Alan Grant of Cathcart CC tells me that he recalls seeing an article on the inside front cover of a BCM, sometime in the last 3-4 years. It concerned a 'newly discovered' Kurt Richter game.

Does anyone have these years of the BCM? If so,could you oblige and see if the reference can be found?

Thank you for any assistance.

Hi Alan

No, I don't have a copy of the relevant BCM.

I note Richter at least once played the 8. Bc1!? you played against me on Sunday and wondered if this is what inspired you to play it.

I hesitate to say this but I assume you have got a copy of Chess combination as a Fine Art supposedly by Golz and Keres. Keres wrote the introductory chapter to the book and Golz arranged the articles by theme but essentially the book is a collection of articles by Richter.
