Folks,
We are now all registered, have our badges etc. Nipped over there first thing this morning and got in nice and early before one or two coachloads of large delegations appeared on the scene. Luckily I knew the HoD from South Africa (88 in delegation) who kindly allowed me to go in front of him. My badge is quite interesting. It said Robin Moore Scotland and is coloured green and highlighted "coach". The guy tried to change it and it now reads Scotland/ Head of. He was unable to spell heid bummer.
Robin.

Folks,
We are all here safely. Alan, Calum and co arrived at quarter to two in the morning and are pretty shattered but they are up and running.
The first round prep is a bit of a lottery as the technical meeting is at 10 and the draw up maybe about 11.30 hopefully, games start at 3 here local time (we are an hour ahead). We have a coaching rota in place from round 2 (tomorrow) on we are all comfortable with.
The restaurant and food here first class, everyone is delighted by the quality and setting of our hotel. We are sharing it with England (They have 4 GM's and 4 IM's including Andrew Greet) with their squad. Wales are here too, staying in apartments closeby but eating in the hotel restaurant.
As usual for us, we are in the bottom half of every draw so will have some monster opponents today but we will all be trying our best.
Robin.

Good luck all!

Yep. He was playing a super computer... but still. I saw the threat immediately.
I was talking to one of the guys involved with that, there was a panic as they thought the board had malfunctioned...
