Grand Prix
The Chess Scotland Grand Prix is designed to boost the Scottish tournament circuit. Prizes include trophies, cash, mag subs, books and more.
What is the Grand Prix?
The Grand Prix is a competition spanning an entire season. Players accumulate Grand Prix points for eligible events when they win or draw, and their best 10 events count towards their season's total. Prizes are given out to the players achieving the highest scores within the prize categories.
Who does it cater for?
The Scottish Grand Prix primarily caters for adult players of varying skill levels, and the Walter Munn Junior Grand Prix is aimed at junior players. Check out each page for their specific eligibility requirements and rules.
