He had a long and important association with the Glasgow Jewish Institute Chess Club, introducing the club to the Glasgow League in 1924. The club won the Spens Cup in 1927 and 1939, and were losing finalists in 1938. The club also reached the final of the Richardson Cup 1928, losing to Edinburgh CC. Mr Klibanski-Miller also guided the club to what may have been their greatest success, winning the 1st Division title of the very strong Glasgow Chess League in season 1952/53 (the club also won in 1928).
He donated the A.K.Miller Cup the the Glasgow League, for a tournament which was run as a handicap knock-out.

Further information would be welcomed about Mr Klibanskie-Miller, whose name is sometimes shown as Klibanski-Miller, as well as, simply, Klibanski, under which name he is recorded as a 'new member' of the Bohemian Chess Club (Glasgow) as per an entry in that club's Minute Book dated 29 October, 1919.
