Today I was looking at the bid process announcement on the Fide website and wondered if folks felt we would be in a position to try and stage an important international adult or junior event in the foreseeable future?

We have a second FM title. Andrew Burnett drew yesterday to take his grade to 2303 and gain the FM title. Congrats to both Andrew and Clement. I wonder who will win the race to IM!

Today Clement Sreeves passed the 2300 FIDE rating mark... A fantastic achievement! Great to finally see one our top juniors go through the system and make it into the titles! I know how hard he has been working at his chess, and this achievement is thoroughly deserved!
Hopefully onwards and upwards FM Clement Sreeves!
