Is this going ahead tonight? I am a little concerned at travelling in the harsh weather conditions that have been forecast. =|

The final round will be played tonight, largely because it isn't possible to contact all the participants to cancel. Travelling conditions are certainly very far from ideal, but hopefully it will be possible to get to and from Lanark safely.

The wind has abated in Lanark in the last hour and travelling conditions here are, at least for the moment, much better than they were. Hopefully it is the same elsewhere.

Looking at the conditions here, I think your are making the correct decision. I have seen it far far worse than this and we have continued. Safe journey everyone!!

The weather turned out to be less of a problem than it might have been and all but one player managed to travel successfully.
