Unfortunately this date clashes with SNCL so the better juniors will be in Dunfermline with their coaches and chauffeurs

Mike,
Do you think next year you can please avoid clashing with SNCL. One of the junior teams can't make it as they are playing in your event which is causing us a nightmare to scrabble round to find a filler team

What are the sanctions for teams not fulfilling their SNCL fixtures?

demotion if in not bottom division, barred for a year if you are in the bottom division (I believe).

Also affects the Lothians event as people who would have played in it are at SNCL. Its good to see junior teams playing in SNCL with the longer time controls

Yes I agree Andy.
However they have to be committed to turning up on the 4 days otherwise its totally destructive. My team has already suffered from a bye round caused by a no show. Does the sanction mean that the players who have represented the offending team/teams this season are all suspended from playing SNCL next year or can they just change their team name and play as if nothing has happened?
