Critical moments have fascinated Scottish GMs. Both Jonathan Rowson and Jacob Aagaard have written thought provokingly on the subject. I believe Jacob's forthcoming book will expand on his thinking.
When preparing for this weekend's event on "Critical Moments" at Edinburgh Chess Club, Keti and I found players and writers can have quite different opinions. We're asking attendees to complete the following exercise to help their improvement and check their understanding.
In advance, please choose a game that was important to you with a critical moment and send the score with the identified moment(s). PM me or e-mail JonathanIMGrant [at] aol [dot] com.
