#1
Our last popular Friday Evening FIDE Blitz in Edinburgh this year is on Friday 13th October.

It is a 9 round event, starting at 7pm, and with a short break half way through, we should all be finished around 9:30pm.

It is held at the Novotel, Edinburgh Park, close to the Tram and Railway station. It offers offers excellent playing conditions.

We reserve a couple of grading prizes for those rated 1640 and below.

Please enter early to secure a place and before Thursday, so as not to have to pay the late entry fee.

John and I hope to see all the regulars again, and hopefully, some new faces.

Only a few hours left to enter at the reduced rate.

24 entries so far and we would like at least 30 as we have an arbiter looking for an arbiter norm and we need 30 at least to make the tournament eligible for him.

So if you can enter please do.

Sorry we stopped at round 7 but we got a bit busier.

All results and cross tables should be available with the FIDE report which we would like you to check for any errors.

See you in Glasgow soon for another one.
