Yes Andy your donation is most generous and others are donating and chipping in. . I'll see if I can get a donation to match yours and I know for certain the money is there if the will to put in to get it. The change in government in Westminster should help and maybe promoting chess as a cultural pastime in Scotland would yield money from the Scottish Government would help. Anyway well done for your initiative.

I think this is aimed at me, but it is difficult to tell.
In case it is, the obvious question to ask is why is it unprofessional to suggest that it was Andrew Burnett's skill which determined the result?

Chess Scotland would like to thank Thor and his team for putting on a successful Scottish. Hopeful next year we can build on the achievements of this one.
