  Next Lothian Junior Chess Event
Posted by: Mike Scott - 17-02-2016, 10:35 AM - Forum: Junior Chess Chat - Replies (30)

Our next event at the Wester Hailes Education Centre is the "Lothian Junior Chess Championships" on Sunday 28th Feb. and which is an OPEN event (with only the title of "Lothian Champion" in each section being restricted to Lothian based players).

Details can be found by following the relevant section link on our home page:-
http://www.ljc.org.uk/

The number of entries at each of our events so far this season have been breaking records with over 100 players in the WH junior congress and over 160 in the last team event, when we had to stop taking entries. So if you want to experience the excitement and atmosphere of a big event get that entry in and do so now!

May or may not be useful but I came across this and I tend to find chess.com stuff to be pretty good (also it's free!). I've looked at the sample and it seems like it's decent quality.
